Nike Delays Lebron Release, Lebron Nike Shoe

Lebron James' new Nikes are going back to training camp.

The athletic brand announced this week that it would push back the

release of James' new Lebron 12 shoe "due to cosmetic issues."

The sneaker was scheduled to hit stores in China on Oct. 1 and become 

available globally 10 days later, but shoppers will have to wait a bit

longer.

Designed to harness the athlete's explosiveness, the new model is said 

to focus on cushioning, support and flexibility.

Basketball fans may remember that James, who is returning to the 

Cleveland Cavaliers this season, wore last year's Lebron 11 model only 

twice during the 18 games of the regular season.

"I could wear them, but they don't feel as great as I want them to feel," 

James said last December. "So we're redefining them, and I feel like this 

next round is going to be perfect."
